Step into the bold and geometric world of Piet Mondrian!
Get to know Piet Mondrian—one of the first abstract artists—and his bold and geometric style, and discover a whole new universe brimming with ideas! Inside, children will learn about Mondrian’s grid and what it meant to him through exercises in finger painting, collage, and symmetry. Filled with activities, readers can get in touch with nature on a journey across the flower markets of Amsterdam, design their own abstract magazine, choreograph a Mondrian-inspired dance routine, and make a DIY kaleidoscope!
