(Printings 1, 2, 3, 4)
When dividing for neck (page 51), need to slip last (dec) stitch before turning to WS.  Should read:  Knit to center Front st and work a right-slanting dec (the center st will lie under the st to its left and the yarn extends from the loop of the center st),

Slinky Tree Bark Rib Tunic (page 88)
(Printings 1, 2, 3)

Yarn-Over Steek Vest (page 104)
(Printings 1, 2)
Instructions for shoulder shaping for sizes Medium and Large (top of the third column on page 105) are incomplete.  After bind off row, it should read:

Lace Leaf Pullover (page 110-111)
No correction, just a tip for working the chart while increasing for raglan:
On first chart row you have 12 sts left between markers where chart is placed; the chart motif ends on the 7th of these sts and  you inc into your 12th st.  So for chart row 3 you now have 13 sts to work with; the chart motif ends on the 10th st and you are increasing into the 13th st.  So on chart row 5 you have 14 sts to work with; the motif ends on the 13th st and you increase into the 14th st.

Asymmetrical Mock Cable Vest/Pullover and Hat ( page 112-117)
No correction, just a suggestion for creating selvedge stiches at edge.
After binding off for underarm ( row 61 women's; row 33 child's note:  child's back chart should have armhole shaping aligned as for front chart), on next WS row increase into stich at each armhole edge to create selvedge stitch at each side.  If you will be attaching sleeves for pullover knit the selvedge sts every row.  For Vest -- work the selvedge sts in Rev St st, except on Back right shoulder where Irish Moss pattern, work the selvedge stitch as well as the next st in St st to create line up to shoulder.

Cabled Riding Jacket (page 120)
(Printing 1, 2, 3, 4)
Body (page 120) should read:  Establish Pattern (follow chart on page 123):  (WS) Beg at left front, K4, p5, k6 (7, 8), [p5, k5, p5, k6 (7, 8)]
9 times, p5, k4.
Row 2: (RS) also rep bracketed sequence 9 times

(Printings 1, 2, 3, 4)First column Bodice paragraph (page 121)

  • 3rd line should read:  the 5 cables on right Front -- work as 5-st Left cable...
  • 6th line should read:  the 5 cables on left Front -- work as 5-st Right cable [cables should twist out toward shoulders, but will work and looks nice twisted inward too--as long as mirrored]

  • After row 1 and 2 of bodice:  Cont to inc and dec for bias effect on Fronts every RS row as est for a total of 37 times, working the new sts into cable pattern (as seen from RS) as foll: Small--[3 purls, 5 knits] 4 times, 3 purls, 2 knits; Medium --[4 purls, 5 knits] 4 times, 1 purl; Large--[5 purls, 5 knits] 3 times, 5 purls, 2 knits.
(Printings 1, 2, 3, 4)
On the Chart (page 123), all cables should be on RS rows; the lone cable on row 69 should be on row 68 like others

Terms and Abbreviations (page 172)
(1st printing)
