Icons of Vintage Fashion is an encyclopedic visual journey through women's fashion that features the most remarkable vintage items ever sold on the resale market. Classified by decade and accompanied by the history of each item's creation, the almost 1,000 articles of clothing and bags depicted in this book offer a panoramic look across the evolution of style. In addition, illustrated features explore memorable fashion moments and personalities, from a designer's retrospective, to a collector's biography, to an interview with an expert. This comprehensive volume also includes a practical guide to the best addresses for vintage shopping around the world, as well as tips for bargain hunting and getting the most out of auctions.

Praise for Icons of Vintage Fashion:
