About the author
Anna Jackson is Deputy Keeper of the V&A’s Asian Department and co-curator of the forthcoming exhibition Maharajas. She co-curated Encounters and co-edited the accompanying book. She is also the author of Expo: International Expositions 1851–2010 and a contributor to Art Deco.
